Often they are caught in negative behavior patterns that stem from their family of origin and past relationships where they were wounded. Clues to what the underlying issues really are can be found in the situations that trigger their anger, and the attributes they project on their partner.

This group retreat is for anyone who wants better relationships! The course will appeal to both your head and your heart as you gain practical, applicable knowledge in an experiential workshop - putting every concept into practice. You will not be asked to simply believe what we say... you will be asked to put it to the test and see for yourself.

Let's face it, our relationships impact every area of our lives. Nothing else in life brings us more joy and more misery than our relationships with others.  It seems that everyone is either trying to get into a relationship, trying to fix one they're already in, or trying to get out of one.

The unfortunate truth is that few people have been trained in how to create or maintain a healthy, joyful relationship.  Those who opt to "get out" of the relationship they are in tend to recreate the exact same drama with a different partner.  Whether you want to improve your relationship with yourself, with Spirit, your sweetheart, family members, children, coworkers or strangers, a SpiritQuest relationship retreat in Sedona will powerfully assist you in making all of your relationships more satisfying. Group Retreat Itinerary
 

Day 1Marriage counseling

Please plan to arrive in Sedona the day before the retreat is scheduled to begin.  Check into your accommodations and
get a good night's sleep.

Day 2 - You Are More Than Your Story

Much of the drama in relationships is the result of projecting established patterns and triggers onto the relationship that
stem from the family of origin and previous relationships. Our first day will be spent learning how recognize these projections, let go of the past, and break any negative patterns in order
to be fully present with our partner.

Day 3 - Love: The Magic Mirror

Our love relationships exist not just to make us happy, but
also to help us grow as human beings.  In this sense the relationships we choose and how we show up in those relationships provides a perfect mirror for who we are.

Day 4 - Mastering The Mindfulness Of Relationship

Our last day together as a group will focus on the skills
required to move beyond physical and financial patnership
to emotional and spiritual communion.  We'll explore the essential skills required to create the truly satisfying and life-affirming relationship that your heart desires.

Optional:  One-on-One Intensives

Our group retreats can be done either as a stand alone experience, or enhanced by extending your stay to go
deeper through intensive one-on-one private sessions.  We recommend you schedule at least one to four days as an extension. Extending your stay allows those who feel the need to work on more private issues and explore how topics discussed during the group sessions translate to their unique relationship.  Those who feel that their work is complete after the group sessions may also elect to extend their stay in order to experience a some of the fun adventure activities SpiritQuest offers.

Location:  Group retreats are hosted at Vista House, which is located at Red Rock Crossing.  With a spectacular view Cathedral Rock (pictured at right) and half dozen easy hiking trails right out our back door, this a wonderfully comfortable and safe place for small groups to gather. Many clients at past SpiritQuest events have brought a box lunch and headed down to the picnic area at Cresent Moon Recreation Area, just a five minute walk from Vista House. 

Lodging:  Lodging and meals are not included.  Sedona offers numerous options for lodging in every price range.  The SpiritQuest staff will be happy to make your reservation at one of our parnter properties who offer our clients a special group rate.

Transportation:  Participants coming from out of state will fly into Phoenix (PHX) and drive approximately 2 hrs to Sedona.  Departing flights can be arranged any time after the last day of the retreat. Vista House is not served by public transportation, so participants will need access to a vehicle for this retreat.

Booking:  A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required at the time of booking.  The balance is due one week prior to the event. If you cancel your retreat, your deposit can be used as a credit towards a future event within one year.  If you are unable to attend any session or do not finish the retreat there is no prorated refund.  In the unlikely event the retreat is cancelled by SpiritQuest for any reason, all money paid will either be refunded or can be applied to private sessions at your option. SpiritQuest will only be liable for monies we have received.
