This is such an important time in Incan cosmology.  Many of the world's spiritual leaders, as well as indigenous teachers, acknowledge that the energy of the planet started to shift in 1992 from the masculine energies of Tibet to the feminine energies of Peru, and more specifically, to Machu Picchu, and the Sacred Valley of the Incas. 

According to the Inca calendar, time is divided into 1000 year cycles and subdivided into 500 year periods of light and darkness, each of which is known as a "Pachakuti".  A 500 year period of darkness began in the year 1492 and ended Spiritual journey to Peruin 1992, when the Earth's energies began to shift back toward a cycle of light. We are now at the threshold of the tenth Pachakuti, which the local people refer to as the returning of Pachkuteq, or "the returning of the Light".

Peru Itinerary:

Day 1, Lima - Arrive from your home country in Lima, Peru and check into your hotel for a relaxing evening.

Days 2-5, Ancient Capitol City of Cusco - Arrive in Cusco to unwind and adjust to the altitude. Visit sacred sites and temples such as Sacsayhuaman, Qoricancha, Temple of the Heart, Temple of the moon, Tambomachay, Quillarumiyoc & others where we will connect soulfully with the ancient wisdom of the land. Enjoy a festive welcome dinner, yoga, meditation, shopping, Cusco markets, optional healing services & wisdom sharing with Jorge & Anahata.

Ceremony in PeruDays 6-9, Mystical Sacred Valley of Peru - Settle into the embrace of the lush, nourishing Sacred Valley of Peru. Explore the town of Chinchero, famous Circles of Moray, traditional Shamanic Andean ceremonies, Ollantaytambo, busseling Pisaq market and sacred ceremony at the Temple of the Sun. Partake in yoga, meditation, optional healing services and Shamanic Light Body Clearing and Activation Ceremony led by Anahata.

Days 10-12, Aguas Calientes & Machu Picchu (Lost City of the Incas) - Depart by scenic train ride to the base town of Aguas Calientes. Enjoy 3 days of exploring the magic and mysteries of the ancient Incan city of Machu Picchu during the powerful Equinox gateway. Participate in a powerful Seed Planting Ceremony of Intention. Adventure to the exotic and breathtaking Mandor falls during the day and soak in the healing hot springs waters in the evening. There are an abundance of shops, temples and restaurants to enjoy in the town of Aguas Calientes.

Day 13, Cusco
Boarding the morning train back to Cusco, we'll have lots of free time in the afternoon to explore the ancient city, revisit sacred sites, or shop. There will be a festive closing ceremony followed by a celebration dinner in the evening.

Day 14, Lima
We'll catch a flight from Cusco to Lima in the morning. Here you can connect to your return flight home. If you are planning to join the extended sacred journey to Lake Titicaca, our transport for this adventure begins this morning.

Jorge Luis DelgadoJorge Luis Delgado is an indigenous Inca with a brilliant mind, who is able to express the knowledge and experiences of his spiritual heritage in practical terms that are as alive and viable in today’s modern cities, as they were in the ancient mountaintop city of Machu Picchu.

He received his early training from the Kallawaya shamans of the Lake Titicaca region, and from the Qero elders of Cusco, who are the last remaining tribal descendants of the Inca. Author of "Andean Awakening: an Inca Guiide To Mystical Peru" and the forthcoming book "Pachacuti: Return To Joy", Jorge is recognized worldwide as an authority on Inca tradition and spirituality.  A "chacaruna" (bridge person) who assists others to cross from one state of consciousness to another, Jorge is fluent in both Spanish and English, as well as three indigenous languages.

 Prices listed below are per person. If you choose to make two payments the final payment is due by 8/15/2013.

  Single payment by check - $3995.
  Two payments by check - $2010, final payment due by 7/25.

Meals & Accommodations:  Lodging for 12 nights at lovely 3-star hotels is included. Double occupancy is standard with private rooms available for an extra charge as noted above. All rooms will have a private bathroom. A breakfast buffet is included every morning. Dinner is included on the first and last nights. Other meals are not included, however box lunches can be arranged through the trip leader at very affordable rates.

Cancellations:  Due to the prepayments required for accommodations, guides, transportation, and food on behalf of each participant, there are no refunds or credits offered in the event of cancellation. This is a firm policy!

Trip Requirements:  A current passport is required for travel to Peru and Bolivia.  In order for us to make your hotel and train reservations we will need for you to send us ASAP:
  1. Name as it appears on passport.
  2. Passport number.
  3. Country of issuance.
  4. Date of birth.

Flights:  Book your flights NOW! This is peak travel season in Peru and you want to be assured of flight availability and optimal routing at the best price. Plan to arrive in Lima, Peru sometime on the 11th. A roundtrip airport shuttle and overnight accommodations are included in your retreat fee. You will also need to book a morning flight on March 12th, from Lima to Cusco, on Lan Peru Airlines. A complimentary shuttle will take you from the airport to the hotel in Cusco.
